This course was created for those who begin their journey in felting. Experienced feltmakers will also find this course interesting, as they can try new felting methods with well-known materials.

In this course you will learn how to take measurements and create a template for any shape (choose different sleeve length and neckline depth) in 15 minutes. Katerina will show you some special techniques for felting textured felt and working with viscose fibers. You will be able to felt comfortable jumpers for yourself or for sale.

Merino wool (carded or tops) 16-19 microns - 35 g

Viscose fibers - 160 g

Required tools:
Laminate underlay
Bubble wrap - 4 m
Elastic band
Electric sander
Water spray bottle
Towel
Dishwashing liquid and a bar soap

Katerina Korshun is one of my favourites feltmakers. I like her elegant and refined style in felted clothes very much! This course became my love from the first sight! Katerina Korshun is a very talented designer and a master feltmaker. Her unique way of using a viscose fibers and combining it with wool, produces a one of a kind garment. She also is a very skilled fashion designer that understands how to make an article of clothing work around a female body.
I purchased several of her courses. My favorite one is a sweater where Katia showed how she works with wet viscose fibers. I loved this technique because it gives an amazing possibilities in designing felted garments.

Katerina Korshun

Katerina lives in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. Felting is both a job and a hobby for her, as Katerina is a professional fashion designer.

Katerina has been engaged in felting since 2009.

First thing she made from felt was a flower that looked like a tiger lily. She was mesmerized by wool and felt. Then Katerina realized that she had found her way.

"I started to study felting: techniques and tricks. 11 years ago, the art of felting was not that much popular and any information was worth its weight in gold. I started with the simplest things."

Soon Katerina mastered scarves, took part in several art exhibitions and started teaching. Her master classes are very popular in Czech Republic as well as among the Russian language speaking feltmakers.
