Felting school online invites you to a new course by Svetlana Vronskaja.
In this course, we will create a unique hobo bag, into which we will carefully weave wool, yarn, fibers, fabrics and also pieces of old, but dear to the heart things.
Thus, as if capturing memories, we will recycle, repurpose and give a second life to our favorite scarves, skirts, blouses or dresses.

Unlike clothes, a bag implies a greater density and statics of the product, which significantly expands the range of possible materials, and also allows us to use thicker wool and thicker layout.

The duration of the master class is about 3.5 hours. Course is divided into 10 parts.

In case you want to create a bag of a different shape, in this course I have a detailed description of how build the template by yourself. You can also start and try out the technique on a smaller canvas - a smaller bag template is added to the course.

Svetlana Vronskaja
Svetlana Vronskaja is from Tallinn, Estonia. She studied textile design at the Estonian Academy of Arts, and her life is still connected with her alma mater.
Svetlana's way to felting began in the Academy, during a workshop, which seemed too "crafty" to her at that time. Svetlana tried some different directions in applied arts, in particular she worked a lot with leather. Surprisingly, she came back to felting. She worked alone for a couple of years and developed her own style. How did Svetlana come to felted garments? She was on maternity leave, but as a very active person she could not sit idle and started experiments with wool.
Today, Svetlana is an owner of her own designer brand "Vronski".
